Featured in Forbes, VentureBeat and other publishings, Popcom created the software for a smart vending machine that gives feedback for both producers and consumers. Working with an engineering firm, we designed the unique physical user interaction of the vending machine.
Ergonomics that Brings Attention
Designing the machine started with the psychology of their target audience; we needed to understand the consumers needs and also the spaces used for the machines.
Prototype
Through familiarity of primary colors, we combined the natural materials with Popcom’s colors to create a composition attracting their target consumers. The familiar colors and welcoming materials were to counterbalance a new shape to the eye; the audience needed to feel the machines were approachable and yet interested in the new shape.
